This study aims to introduce some ways of integrating language with culture in the secondary school English class in Korea. The study starts with the analytic survey of the realistic problem that culture is taught ostentatiously or ignored even by most English teachers who realize its importance in English education. The study proceeds to give some straight tip on the ways of teaching English through integrating it with culture. Its practical ways were to be applied to seventy in-service English teacher trainees in 2004 Summer Session at Gyeongsang National University. From the responses of the teacher trainees to whom the ways of integrating English with culture are introduced, the following are suggested The ways of teaching English through integrating language with culture are welcomed and actively absorbed by most English teacher trainees. Hence the pressing need is felt for the further study to develop sufficient teaching material for implementing the ways.
