도서지역 여성의 평생교육참여 저해요인 분석

Analysis on Barrier Factors of Lifelong Education Participation of Women Who Live in Island

본 연구는 도서지역 여성을 대상으로 교육참여 저해요인을 분석하고 개인배경에 따라 교육참여 저해요인에 차이가 있는지를 양적조사와 질적조사를 병행하여 분석하였다. 조사대상자는 전남지역 도서에 해당하는 하의도, 하조도, 노화도, 넙도에 거주하는 181명의 여성이다. 연구결과, 고연령층일수록, 학력수준이 무학일수록, 저소득자일수록, 주부들일수록 교육경험이 없다고 응답하였다. 교육참여 저해요인을 분석한 결과는 정보저해, 지역상황저해, 성향저해, 기관저해, 개인상황저해 등 5개의 요인이 도출되었다. 5개 요인중 지역상황저해요인 점수가 가장 높아 그만큼 조사지역에 교육기관의 부재가 심각함을 드러내 주었다. 개인배경별 교육참여 저해요인의 차이를 분석한 결과, 연령이 높을수록, 학력수준이 낮을수록, 소득수준이 낮을수록 지역상황저해요인을 제외하고는 모두 통계적으로 유의미하게 참여 저해점수가 높게 나타났다. 직업에서는 성향저해요인에서만 주부와 농업에 종사하는 여성들의 참여 저해점수가 유의미하게 높았다.

This study analyzed barrier factors of educational participation on women who live in island, and tested whether barrier factors make a difference by personal background. And this study performed quantitative and qualitive survey at the same time. The subjects of study are 181 women who live in hai, hajo, nowha, and nup-island in Jeonnam. According to this results, first, there isn't educational experience among women who are more than 60, unschooled, under 10 million won in income, and housewives. Second, extracted barrier factors are informational barrier, situational barrier related region, dispositional barrier, institutional barrier, situational barrier related person. Third, result comparing the mean grades of barrier factors is that the grade of situational barrier related region is highest. Finally, result to analyze differences of barrier factors by personal background is that the grade of the old, the low schooled, the low incomer is high in 4 factors except situational barrier related region. And grades of housewives and women of doing farm work are meaningfully high only in dispositional barrier factor.
