This study examines elementary teachers’ basic perception of e-Learning and needs for e-Learning materials for their teaching through a survey questionnaire. Queries designed for the purpose of identifying e-Learning materials elementary teachers need for their teaching are included in the questionnaire. Survey data were randomly collected from 164 English teachers working at 82 elementary schools in Gyeongnam province. The results show the respondents answered very positively to questions on using e-Learning materials and personally developing e-Learning materials for their teaching. E-Learning materials for listening among 4 skills were mostly preferred in all grades from the 3rd to the 6th. Role-play and storytelling materials were also mostly preferred among various activity materials by the respondents. Picture cards and work sheets appropriate to the progress of the textbook were the materials they mostly preferred from websites for their preparation of classroom activities. Considering teachers' needs for their teaching materials, e-Learning websites for elementary teachers need to develop the teaching materials appropriate to the progress of the textbook and consider their usability in class activities.
