ICT활용을 고려한 초등영어교육과정의 방향

On ICT-based teaching-learning methods of primary English curriculum

The purpose of this study is to suggest ICT-based teaching-learning methods of primary English curriculum. In order to achieve this purpose, the seventh national curriculum is analysed, and the descriptions of ICT-related curricula are reviewed. The analysis finds that the primary English curriculum consists of only three ICT-based achievement standards, and the directions of using ICT in the classroom are not presented systematically. In this vein, teaching-learning methods using ICT are suggested in primary English curriculum. The methods are formulated by combining ICT tools(supporting tools and application tools), activity types, and English teaching-learning contents. Particularly, it is shown that English teaching-learning methods through ICT can be used in classroom activities effectively.
