The purpose of this study is to extend the Hersey & Blanchard's Situational Leadership Theory. Through literature review, this study investigates the limitations of situational leadership on the basis of levels and variable relationships. The limitations of situational leadership are viewed at the levels and variable relationship. The limitations are as follows. First, There are lots of problems with the situation variables Second, most of previous research about situational leadership theory has been to neglect the levels of analysis. To overcome these limitations, we proposed the new situation variable -'Doen Saram(Desirable man)' & 'Nan Saram(Able man)', - and tested the situational leadership theory at the group level. Especially, we introduce the group efficacy and group cohesion to test the situational leadership theory at the group level. Finally, we discuss implications and directions for future study.
