1. CONTENTS (1) RESEARCH OBJECTIVES This segmentation is accomplished via cluster analysis. The purpose of the research is to identify market segments with retail rent . (2) RESEARCH METHOD cluster analysis (3) RESEARCH RESULTS Results of cluster analysis using retail rent(deposit, month rent) variables available for 25 districts show that districts Seocho, Gangnam and Chongno, Yongsan-gu are quite distinguished from the rest of the city. 2. RESULTS The research which it sees used the cluster analysis of the rent and it divided the Seoul area. The result, first, it did retail deposit level in standard and it came to be divided into 3 group. it is high Group (Jongno-gu, Gangnam-gu), middle group (Jung-gu, Mapo-gu, Seocho-gu, Yangcheon-gu, Seodaemun-gu, Eunpyeong-gu, Dongdeamu-gu, Dongjak-gu, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Gwanak-gu, Nowon-gu, Gangso-gu), low group (Seongdong-gu, Guro-gu, Gwangjin-gu, Songpa-gu, Jungnang-gu, Gangbuk-gu, Seongbuk-gu, Geumcheon-gu, Gangdong-gu, Dobong-gu) second, with the standard of retail month rent, it divided the Seoul area into 3 group. high Group (Jongno-gu, Gangnam-gu, Seocho-gu), middle group (Jung-gu, Seodaemun-gu, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Gwangjin-gu, Dongdeamu-gu, Dongjak-gu, Yangcheon-gu, Gangso-gu, Nowon-gu, Eunpyeong-gu, Mapo-gu, Songpa-gu), low-end group(Seongdong-gu, Guro-gu, Jungnang-gu, Geumcheon-gu, Gangdong-gu, Gangbuk-gu, Seongbuk-gu, Dobong-gu, Gwangjin-gu). 3.
