A Study on the Relocation of the U.S. Forces in Korea and Activation of Regional Economy - Centering around the Case of Pyongtaek City -

1. CONTENTS (1) RESEARCH OBJECTIVES This study aims to suppose desirable policy direction on the basis of Pyongtaek citizens’ opinion on the Pyongtaek relocation of US Forces in Korea (2) RESEARCH METHOD This includes data analysis and surveys from citizen in pyongtaek. We verify result of research making use of Frequency, Descriptive Statistics, T-Test ets under the significant level 0.05.. (3) RESEARCH RESULTS The central government must provide a concrete alternatives in order to relieve negative opinion. 2. RESULTS The central government must provide Pyongtaek Special Law and long term master plan in order to develop international city. Also, it must provide compensate alternatives for residents of enlistment area and must improve educational enviroment of juveniles 3.
