Hierarchical Order of Silla Society at the Time around the Unification from View of an Outfitting Material

&nbsp;&nbsp;본고에서는 慶州 龍江洞 및 隍城洞古墳에서 출토된 인물형 토용을 토대로 신라에서 관제가 정비된 시기의 복식과 신분표상의 양상을 고찰하였다. 관위마다 복식의 색깔이나 재질이 규정되었던 내용은 문헌기록에도 볼 수 있는데, 이 복식제는 律令을 구성하는 중요한 요소인 官品令과 衣服令이라는 두 가지 篇目과 관련되며 한국의 律令 繼受를 검토하는 데 가장 유효한 주제이다. 따라서 유적에서 출토되는 복식 관련유물에 대한 분석은 당시 岐路에 서 있었던 신라사회의 실태를 해명하는데 있어 필수적인 주제가 된다.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;분석의 결과 신라의 관제에서는 복식의 색깔이나 재료를 바탕으로 계층을 표현하는 중국식 신분표상 방식을 채택하면서도 고유의 관등명과 혈통을 기초로 한 신분질서를 계속해서 사용하였음을 알 수 있었다. 즉, 종전부터 존재했던 신분질서의 가시적 표현 수단으로서 중국식 통치제도의 일부인 복식제를 이용한 것으로 보았다. 거기에는 凡동아시아적인 뚜렷한 공통점을 인정할 수 있는 반면, 신분표상으로서의 복식제가 신라의 독자적인 신분질서를 표현하기 위해 편의적으로 중국에서 빌려 온 표면적인 제도였을 가능성도 지적되었다.

&nbsp;&nbsp;This paper considered the aspect of the time when regulations on the administration were fixed in Silla based on person formed clay figure excavated from the Yonggang-don(龍江洞) and the Hwangseong-don(隍城洞) tomb, Kyongju. The contents as which the color and the quality of the material of outfitting and ornaments were specified for every rank are looked at by ancient records. This outfitting system relates to two items of social ranking Statute and outfitting statute which are the important element which constitutes Luling(律令), the ancient chinese law, it is the theme most effective when considering acceptance of Luling in ancient Korea. Therefore, analysis for the remains concerning with outfitting excavated from ruins is the theme required when solving the actual condition of the Silla society which stood on crossroads those days.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;The clay figures excavated from the both tombs were judged to be what was influenced of Chinese Tang Dynasty as a result of analysis. And it turned out that a certain amount of status is reflected also in its outfittings. However, in the bureaucracy of Silla and the other kingdom in ancient Korea at Three Kingdom period, though a China style social position representation system which expresses a class based on the color and the quality of the material of dress and ornaments was adopted, the social position order on the basis of blood and peculiar ranking name were used succeedingly. That is, the outfitting system which is a China style government system was carried out as a means to express the social position order which existed traditionally. The point common to East Asia is accepted there. On the other hand, it is also possible to conclude that the outfitting system as social position representation is only the external system borrowed from China for convenience in order to express the original social ranking order of Silla.
