Preliminary Review on Proposed New Articles in Complete Draft of UCP 600

&nbsp;&nbsp;Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits (UCP) have been through five revisions, the latest being the present UCP 500 in 1993. During 2002, the Banking Commission of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) agreed to commence the process for are revision of the UCP 500. In November 2005, the complete draft of the revised UCP 500, which will be known as UCP 600, is ready for approval of the final draft by the banking commission of ICC. The first and second complete draft have been carried out by the Drafting Group a review of issues submitted by National Committees.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;In this paper, I reviewed the proposed new articles in first and second complete draft of UCP 600. The question remains the status of the provisions of International Standard Banking Practice which do not incorporation into UCP 600.
