Strategies for the Cargo’s Invitation for the Creation of the Used Car’s Export Logistics Base in Hinterland Donghae Port

&nbsp;&nbsp;This paper suggests several strategies for the development of Bukpyeong Complex, the hinterland of Donghae Free Trade Zone, through the creation of the used car&quot;s export distribution and specialized base. The results of our study indicate that there are several pre-conditions for the success of Bukpyeong industrial complexes. The selection of suitable industry and expansion of industrial infrastructure are strongly associated with the successful development of the complex. From this point of view, the used car industry is best for this complex. The reduction of physical distribution cost is one of the critical factors for the inducement of firms and revitalization of the complex.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;This study contribute to assist planners and policy-makers in developing an efficient industrial complex by providing useful knowledge about the backward industrial complex, and suggesting the effective means to assist the firms in the complex.
