The Developments in the Consciousness of University Students in terms of Family Law in Korean Society

&nbsp;&nbsp;Beginning in the 1960s, there was unparalleled upheaval in the family law systems of Western industrial societies. Korean family and society have changed from 1980s to the present. Therefore, Korea eventually reformed its family law systems. This recent survey is to identify the changes in Korean family and family law by exploring Korean university students&quot; awareness about marriage and family law. The conclusions of this survey are as follows:<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;First, it appears that the system of traditional values in Korean society has collapsed.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Second, it is reported that there are considerable differences between the current family law system and the values of the young generation.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;It is also found that the idea of equality between women and men has become increasingly wide spread among university students.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Lastly, it is significant that the value of individualism, especially between married couples, has widely increased in Korean society.
