A Study on the Supervision System in the Care and Control System

&nbsp;&nbsp;Generally, the adult guardian has huge discretion over the person and/or property of the ward. The guardian, however, shall consult with the ward and give due consideration to the preference of the ward in performing his or her duties.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Also, the guardian shall maintain the highest ethical, moral, and professional standards since the guardian-ward relationship is based on trust. To achieve these goals, there should be educational institutions dedicated to educating professional adult guardians. In fact, there are such institutions in most of the countries that adopted the adopted supervision systems of the care and control system, and the number is growing fast.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;This paper will suggest the issues that should be considered in adopting supervision systems of the care and control system in Korea by focusing on the supervision systems of the care and control system in Germany and Japan.
