종업원의 직장만족도 결정요인 실증연구 - 보험회사 중심으로

  The domestic enterprises have changed their approach in hiring and firing employees since the Korean economic crisis in late 1997. That is, many enterprise in Korea have used to fire employees by means of so called ‘honorary early retirements’, which is recommended and actually forced by the employer for the purpose of efficiency improvement. In responses to this kind of lay-off, the employees seem to feel that the company is not like ‘permanent workplace ‘ that used be a normal employment custom before 1997 in Korea. With this changes of employee’s mindset, the enterprise come to face big challenges for improvement of profitability.   Under the new trend of retirement in Koran, this paper analyzes empirically the determinants of employee satisfaction to their firm for Korean insurance companies.   As a result of this empirical research, it is found that the statistically significant determinants, whose coefficient are positive, are the new insurance product, self-development, morale, job-satisfaction, internal communication, and innovation of management, , in order of the big size of coefficient, while the significant determinant, whose coefficient is negative, is the expenses of training and education.   The results imply that Korean insurance companies would make better effort to increase   the employee‘s satisfaction to firm by internal marketing, focusing on the determinants found in this research.
