특수학교 수업개선을 위한 수업공개 운영 실태 분석

Analysis of Exhibition Class in Special School in Pursuit of Improve Education

교내 자율장학의 일환으로 학교현장에서 교수 학습의 개선을 위하여 가장 널리 쓰여지고 있는 것이 수업공개이다. 그러므로 학생들을 직접적으로 지도하는 교수-학습의 장(場)인 학교의 수업공개 실태를 분석하는 것은 교육적 의미가 매우 크다. 따라서 본 연구는 특수 학교수업개선을 위하여 수업공개 실태에 대한 기초 자료를 파악하는 데에 그 목적이 있다. 특수학교 등에서 근무하는 교사 92명을 대상으로 설문지를 통한 조사를 실시한 결과 첫째, 수업공개 교사 선정과 준비 과정에 있어서 수업공개 교사 선정은 별도 학교 규정으로 선정하거나 동료 교사와 협의하여 결정하였으며 교사들은 공개 당시 시간보다는 공개일 직전이나 준비과정에서 스트레스를 많이 받고 있었다. 둘째 수업공개를 위한 자료 준비 및 연수에서는 수업공개를 위해 교장(감)이나 부장교사보다는 동료 교사의 조언과 도움을 많이 받고 있고 수업공개 관련의 연수는 자율연수와 교내연수에 가장 많이 참가하였으며 그 내용도 긍정적이었다. 셋째, 수업공개의 실행과 평가에 있어서는 수업공개시의 참관 교사의 태도는 형식적이라는 응답이 많았으며 교장(감)보다는 동료교사의 지도 조언이 교수-학습 개선에 더 많은 도움을 주고 있고 수업공개는 교수-학습 개선에 도움을 주고 있다고 여기고 있었다.

Exhibition class is most widely utilized as part of internal autonomous supervision to enhance teaching and learning activities, and it's very worth doing to take a close look at how that is implemented in school. The purpose of this study was, accordingly, to examine in which way exhibition class was actually conducted in special school in an effort to improve special education. The subjects in this study were 92 teachers from special schools, on whom a survey was conducted. As a result, it's found that there was a separate regulation to select a teacher who would offer exhibition class, or that they consulted with their colleagues to do that. They faced more pressure immediately before the day of exhibition class or during its preparation, rather than at the time of exhibition class itself. Secondly, concerning preparations of materials and relevant training, they sought for more help and advice from fellow teachers than from principals, vice principals or head teachers. The autonomous and internal training courses were most largely taken in association with exhibition class, and they viewed those courses favorably. Third, as to the implementation and evaluation of exhibition class, a lot of the teachers felt that other teachers visited exhibition class just for form's sake, and colleague teachers gave them better advice than principals or assistant principals did. And exhibition class was considered to make a contribution to taking their instruction to another level.
