This study examines elementary students" preference for e-Learning media and needs for e-Learning materials for their English learning through a survey questionnaire. Queries designed for the purpose of identifying e-Learning materials elementary students need for their learning are included in the questionnaire. Survey data were selectively collected from 310 elementary students in 10 elementary schools in Gyeongnam province. The results show the respondents answered very positively to questions on using educational web sites in English classes and personally using CD-ROM for their self-study among 8 different types of educational material such as textbook CD-ROM. EBS TV, teacher-made web materials, educational CD-ROM, EBS web site, cassette tapes, homepages of Office of Education, and work sheets from private institutes. e-Learning materials for reading were mostly preferred to develop among various activity materials in all grades from 3rd to 6th. The results show EBS TV programs and EBS web materials are more frequently used for their English learning in counties than in cities. Compared with teachers" needs for their teaching materials, elementary students thought they need to develop their e-Learning materials not just focused on spoken skills but to expand their proficiency in all English skills.
