The purpose of this study was to survey attitude and the degree of satisfaction with internship program of undergraduates majoring in food and nutrition studies, and to suggest an improvement measure for managing efficient internship program. A questionnaire survey of 93 students at three universities in Korea was conducted. Statistical analyses were made on the data utilizing the SAS V8.2 for windows, such as Descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation and Regression analysis. Major findings from this study are summarized as follows. Most internship program was conducted at institutional food service operations during 2 weeks, but they wanted longer period of the internship program and more opportunity of participation in the program. The satisfaction level was below 4 point(out of 5 point) in all of the measures, while the attitude level was above 3 point(out of 5 point) in all of the measures. There was positive correlation between satisfaction level with "educational usefulness of internship program" and attitude level of "I did my best for doing my work", and attitude level of "I actively participated in the internship program" and attitude level of "I followed the policy of the operations". Finally, for the reliability analysis of the developed tool, the Cronbach"s alpha coefficient was used as the reliability indicator. Reliability estimate assessed was .8586 and .8206.
