Sexual Attitudes and Behaviors of Undergraduates in Chungnam and Chungbuk Areas and Their Contact through Sexual Messages in the Media

  This purpose is to find out how frequent the contact to an obscene media and sexual attitudes and behaviors of both sexes of undergraduates in Chungnam and Chungbuk areas. Studying objects were 505 undergraduates in Chungnam and Chungbuk areas, studying period was from Jun. 10, 2003 to July 15, 2003, data analysis was concluded by answered questionnaire 481 sheets, and statistics transaction verified the frequency, percentage and x²of cross-analysis through SPSSWIN program.   As a conclustion, first, it was shown the important difference between the sexes in the sexual attitudes respect of undergrauates. Futhermore, they allow the premarital sex. In the sexual attitudes, it was hardly shown regional difference except homosexual love that was shown higher reacton in Chungnam area. Sexual attitudes was shown important difference in accordance with the experience of sex education. It was shown big difference between groups in the loveless sex. The sex-education experienced group answered about this as a bad trouble, on the other hand, noneducated group had opposite view. Second, it was shown important difference of undergraduates" sexual behaviors in accordance with sex. Male student were higher than females for self-consolation. And also, in relations with opposite sex, boys answered higher than girls for sex, on the other hand, girls answered higher than boys for kiss. It was hardly shown the local difference in undergraduates" sexual behaviors in Chungnam and Chungbuk except the relations with oppsite sex. In undergraduates" sex behavior following the experience of sex-education, the sex-education experienced group had answered highly for self-consolation, otherwise, noneducated group had answered highly for this as a natural action. And also noneducated group had an experience of sex highly. Third, it was shown the highest difference between male student group and females group in contact of sexual messages in the media. Male student were much higher frequence and chance for contacting obscene medium and sexual message in the media than girls.
