The purpose of this study is to review the previous studies on the stuttering occurrence in the view of phonoloical, syllabic, morphological, and syntactic variables. It was found that stutterings are influenced by the position of sounds within words, phonetic contexts of words, swllabic position, word frequence, information loding of words, and grammatical complexity of the sentences in which they appear.
