This paper explored the relationship between reading and writing in college English classroom. This study was based on a pilot reading course which applied a reciprocal approach to reading and writing. Students read various kinds of English reading materials in this course. Based on their reading, students wrote short English essays and put those essays on the bulletin board provided on the intemet homepage for the course. While reviewing their English essays, the researcher found out several problems ranging from word usage problems to course managing problems. As a solution, the use of KWIC concordance analysis and the active use of intemet bulletin board for peer feedback were suggested.
