Remain of figured twill fabrics of the Tongilshilla(統一新羅), Koryo(高麗) and Chosun(朝鮮) were recently discovered in Korea. In the paper, the author attempts to make both classification and nomenclature of some specimens from these finds. The following conclusions were de-duced. figured twill : Twill figures on a twill. Twill figures on a plain. Floated-pattern twill on a plain. Floated-pattern twill on a twill. Two-coloured twill. Mixed twill(twill and basket).
