Concerning the business for Vietnamese real estate development, the real estate market falls behind, lack of clearness for the business environments, and the complicated and unreliable real estate system. And further, due to the discriminative articles and clauses, which disapprove the right of using land for foreigners unlike from the natives, there always exist the limits and problems when launching the business of the real estate development in Vietnam. However Vietnamese government is very active to join WTO, for the purpose of their real estate system or the like is expected to get closer to the universal standard frame or world economy. As Vietnam is continuing the gradual reforms of their laws and ordinances related to economy toward the international commercial level and now accelerating their entry to the international economic society, the limitation pursuant to the acquisition of the real estate applied discriminatively to the foreigners is expected to be gradually alleviated after their economic level reaches to a certain extent. Analyzing the characteristics of Vietnamese real estate market focused on the Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam as well as the laws and systems on real estate, and comparing them with Korean real estate system, this study examined the caution considered the business prospect and analysis on the competitive power in case of proceeding to the mentioned business based on the business of housing development in Ho Chi Minh City.
