Baik chup po was recorded to be woven in Kokuryo dynasty. Baik chup pos were recorded to be offered to Tang(唐) from Sylla. These fabrics were also recorded that they were offered to China by the kings Wang Keun(王建) and Hye Jong(惠宗) of Koryo dynasty. These fabrics were recorded that they were white fine cotton fabrics. It has been known that cotton was introduced and cultivated from Koryo dynasty in Korea. Therefore, the knowledge of cotton cultivation and weaving might also to introduced from Kokuryo and Sylla.
