Demand for logistics is increasing immensely along with the rapid increase in the electronic commerce. Widened delivery areas and the detailed specificity of various products have made it more difficult to provide an efficient electronic commerce service. In order to counter this trend, third-party logistics has expanded an investment in the logistics information system while constructing a partnership with goods owners by establishing a strategic alliance, and of course, by progressing upon the business alliance with other logistics companies to heighten service efficiency. In addition, providing an integrated and customized service, cultivating a consulting capability, uplifting the standard for outcome measurement with goods owners, and evaluating business end-result are discussed henceforth.
