A study on Mok-eun's Lee Saek epitaphs

  Epitaphs is recording one person"s life after his death. Mok-eun is a considerable part of most his collection of works. It remains twenty nine epitaphs.   When the Goryeo dynasty period, Mok-eun remains a lot of epitaphs. Epitaphs is connected with family, so it is general give careful consideration to asking epitaphs. Mostly, a good writer or a person who great influence on political circles are asked to write epitaphs. So it is demonstrated the superiority that Mok-eun make a large epitaphs.   Because of Mok-eun"s consciousness of family, his works getting longer, and through the anecdote, he reveals his moral character. he makes use of conversation and broadly informed about new-confucianism.   In this treatise, we can reveal that Mok-eun is the person who has a distinguished talent about prose by feature of Mok-eun"s epitaphs.
