A Study on the Physique, Fat Weight and Standard body Weight of Elementary Students

&nbsp;&nbsp;This Study was Measured Physiques of Elementary School Students, and Grasping the state of growth and development in elementary school students and for find out various problem.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;For the purpose of offered basic data to physical education and medical health, and we obtain the following conclusions ;<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;1. Body Height<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Each of Male and Females Average Body height were 120.06 4.26㎝, 119.36 4.50㎝ in six age group, and 146.39 11.02㎝, 151.00 44.01㎝ in eleven age group. And the Female growth rate were exceeded that of Male. However, Between 10 - 11 age group average height for the both sexes statistic interchanged.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;2. Body Weight<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Each of Male and Female average Body weight were 22.99 3.69Kg, 21.77 3.11Kg in six age group, and 39.45 8.99Kg, 39.77 0.07Kg in eleven age group. And the Female growth rate were exeeded that of Male. However between 10 - 11 age group average weight for the both sexes statistic interchanged.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;3. Chest girth<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Each of Male and Females average chest girth were 58.82 4.09㎝, 56.53 3.46㎝ in six age group, and 71.97 8.00㎝, 71.32 7.57㎝ in 11 age group. And the female growth rate were exceeded that of male.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;4. % Body Fat<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Each of Male and Females average % Body fat were 13.08 6.14, 37.25 8.15 in six age group, and 11.39 5.42, 31.61 33.37 in eleven age group. And the female growth were exceeded in that of male.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;5. Fat Weight<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Each of Male and Females average Fat Weight were 2.81 1.15Kg, 7.97 0.97Kg in six age group, and 4.36 2.36Kg, 12.00 11.48Kg in eleven age group. And the Female Fat Weight and growth rate of fat weight were exceeded that of male.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;6. Standard Body Weight<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;The standard body weight of the 172 males and 166 females in six age group were measured and studied for this purpose.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Correlation coefficients were made r=+0.644 (p＜0.001) in male, r=+0.0686 (p＜0.001) in female. And each of the body height regression equation was as follows;<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Male: Y (Body weight, Kg) = 0.558×(Body height, ㎝) - 43.968.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Female: Y (Body weight, Kg) = 0.473×(Body height, ㎝) - 34.529.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;7. The rate of obesity in regard of standard body weight the obesity rate of male in 6 - 11 age group was 4.26%, and that of female was 3.56%.
