A study in the comperative of the personality Traits of undergraduate in Department of Dance

&nbsp;&nbsp;We tried this study to verify the difference of personality traits in to major. For this, 206 students in dance department were examined. And we used standardized questionare on human characteristics which made for adults and undergraduates to identify the influence of the participation in dancing activity. We analyzed those data with self-administration method and reached some conclusion.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;1. Those activity was appeared in Korean dance, modern dance, ballet. This result was considered to be meaningful(p＜.01).<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;2. Emotional stability was compared from apoint of their major. They showed significant differences(p＜.001).<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;3. Dominance in accordance with their major showed reasionable result(p＜.05).<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;4. Comparision of reflectiveness in major did not show any credibility.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;5. In the survey of sociability according to their major, we couldn&quot;t find reasionable difference.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;6. Autonomy was evaluated to be high in modern dance which followed by Korean dance, which followed by ballet. Those was considered to be insignificant.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;7. Achievement was evaluated most high in Korean dance, which followed modern dance, which followed by ballet. Those was meaningful result. There was remarkable difference in accordance with major(p＜.05).<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;8. We compared psychoneurosis symptom as their major. We acquired reasionable difference among them(p＜.05).<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;9. We compared psychoneurosis was evaluated in the order of ballet, korean dance, modern dance. Those was considered to be insignificant.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;10. The comparision of psychosis was evaluated in the order of ballet, Korean dance, modern dance, But that was not consudered to be insignificant.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;11. Comparative research on the antisocial behavior did not show meaningful difference in major.
