&nbsp;&nbsp;The purpose of this study was to observe the effect of weight training on the physical fitness heart rate and muscle strength.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;16 physical education students at H University were selected as subject and then divided into two groups ; the control group with 8 students, the training group with 8 students weight training was perfomed by 8 students of the training group, three times a week for the period of 8 weeks.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;The results were as follows;<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;1. Body weight did not change significantly in each group.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;2. In the improvement of physical fitness appeared in each group, but those increased significantly in the training group.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;3. Rest heart rate did not decrease significantly in each group, but heart rate is very decreased.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;4. In the improvememt of muscle strength, There is a significant difference(P<0.01)between pre-test and post-test in training group.
