The purpose of this study is to examine how steady kinematic variation differences of a leap in Cuervo, a horse movement, effect to rotating movements in airborne at the second leap-up. Three national gymnasts are participated for this study. The following results are found by comparing and assaying the kinematic variations through 3-dimensional cinematography using hi-speed video camera.
1. When stamps, the greater angular displacement of hip joint angle and stamping support angle, the faster parallel velocity at the takeoff. On account of lowering the center of the body gravity at the first leap-up and shortening the time required, there is the effect extended to make the contacted support angle of horse more perpendicular.
2. The greater the perpendicular takeoff velocity when stamps and the higher the center of the body gravity at the first leap-up, the longer the time required when contacts horse, the less change of the shoulder joint angle displacement, and the lower the horse takeoff velocity.
3. If there are fast perpendicular velocity at the takeoff, more perpendicular contacted support angle, and short contacted time at horse, then causes the long duration of flight and long flight distance for better-balanced stable land.
4. But if there are broad parallel displacement, less perpendicular displacement, and less soulder joint angle displacement, then these elements weaken the strength of leap-up. These provide the narrow coxa angle and low center of the body gravity when lands, and that unstable lands.
Assembling the above results, to perform Cuervo successfully, one who performs Cuervo would land stably in return for the long duration of flight from low center of the body gravity with short time required when the first leap-up, and fast perpendicular velocity with short time required when the takeoff.
