A Study on the Analysis and Improvable Direction in the Practical Skill Test of University Enterance Examination (The central views of physical education series in Seoul city of Korea)

&nbsp;&nbsp;The practical survey on the types of practical skills in physical education field which are tested by department of physical education in 18 universities in downtown Seoul of Korea in 1993 was performed and the anslysis was made by classifying them into the basic skill, the sport skills, and the special skill to the classified as athletes and the following conclusion were obtained;<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;l. In the practical test for basic skills 24 subjects were selected however 100m tracks and standing long jump were mostly performed 67% with 12 universities, throwing event for 61% with 11 universities and remaining subjects were less than 50% in terms of choice as the subjects of the practical test. In tems of choice of test subjects did not performed within 100% due to the causes of the institution and validity in department of physical education.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;2. Only 6 universities were performed the practical tests on sport skill and the rest of universities did not conducted about the security of accident in the sport skill and they were selected due to the objective credits more than the case of subjective credits in the practical test. According to the above phenomenon, the development of athletes in future might be inhibited due to the superiority of basic skill more than the case of special sport. Therefore, they should be performed to be the selection of sport skill in the practical test, respectively.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;3. One university conducted the practical test on special skill and the rest of universities were selected through the some subjects of special skill of universities but the other universities did not conducted due to the anyone of special skill. The examininer of physical education was found to be the having of sone kind in physical sports. They must be selected the chance of the practical tests in the various subjects.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;4. The percentage distribution between the theoretical examination and the practical test of skills were profoundly distributed to be about 50% with the theoretical examination and about 20% with basic skill, 30% with sports skill and 50% with special skill in the practical test. Furthermore, the excellent student in sports were vividly contributed to the development of athletes-field during student-life of university.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;5. It was tentatively valued that the professors of their university was directed on the enterance examination of physical education more than the case of other professors of university.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;In view of the above findings, it might be suggested that the correction of the above problems and the increasing trust between the goverment policy and the directed-professors for the university enterance examination in the development of the sport-fields of Korea should be performed in near future.
