Through the study on general and special psychological preparation for ice-hockey players we could get conclusions as followings;<BR> 1. General psychological preparation for ice-hockey players<BR> 1) Inspiration of positive mind<BR> There must be continuous care and influence on players for forming good personality during their training as well as games, and whole team members should be willing to help to get rid of negative aspects.<BR> 2) Formation of sport groups<BR> Team work, companionship and solidarity among players are indispensable elements for successful fulfillment of their games, therefore there should be organic connection in every parts of the team.<BR> 3) Inspiration of will power<BR> Upgrading preparation level of players is important for inspiring and developing their will power. For decisiveness and boldness of the players it is good to implement a bit risky exercise, but not a kind that can cause feeling of fear, and then it is needed to try exercises that can cause extreme tiredness and pain.<BR> 4) Developing various feelings<BR> There are several senses that ice-hockey players bear, such as 〈sense in ice-link〉, 〈feeling about stick and puck〉 and 〈about goal post〉. These kinds of senses are based on sense of muscle strength, sense of sight, sense of hearing and that of balance, which are naturally developed and completed in accordance with physical, psychological and movement skills.<BR> 5) Concentration development<BR> To develop firm and strong concentration, it is good way of exercising to practice strength training in both limited space and spacious room using lots of objects.<BR> 6) Improving tactical speculation<BR> In this field, try to set various complicated games that need creativeness for resolving.<BR> 7) Developing ability of self-control<BR> Ability of self-control and sensible firmness help players to overcome extreme agitation, to save their energy and not to lose mental balance and movement balance.<BR> 2. Special psychological preparation<BR> Special psychological preparation is based on general psychological preparation. This kind of preparation helps players to acknowledge the importance of the game so that they can analyse conditions for the game such as time or place of the game, characteristics of the team players they fight against, which also allow them to have self-confidence and overcome negative mind about the game.
