A Study on Development Process of the Modern Sports in The End of Korean Empire

&nbsp;&nbsp;This study examines the development process of the modern sports, focused on the introduction and leaders of the modern sports, formation of various sports organization and facilities. As a result, the following can be concluded ; With the "Boungzasuhozoyak"(병자수호조약) as a momentum, the modern sports was introduced from Japan and the West with new culture.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;The modern sports got spread among society by activity of foreign missionarys, teachers, sodiers and students who returned to Korea from studying in Japan and usually through a army training center, a school sports matches in a public park and activity of sports organizations.
