The aim of this study is to find paradigm shift of 21C education from the viewpoints of holistic education, which is now considered as an alternative approach to modernistic education. The methodology of this study is basically theoretical approaches with the analysis and synthesis of ideas from the existing literatures and the proceeding experiments.<BR> This study began with the criticisms of modernistic education as a background of the necessity of alternative method by way of the ecological perspective. and then, investigation of the revolutionary changes in contemporary science, pschology, and understanding of human nature and existence.<BR> III summaries main findings produced in each chapter and a recommendation.
