대안학교 교육이 실과교육에 주는 시사

Implications for Practical Arts Education of Alternative School Education

  본 연구는 대안학교교육이 실과교육에 미치는 함의를 탐색하는 연구로써 대안학교 교육과 관련된 문헌과 자료 분석을 통하여 연구를 하였다. 대안학교 교육은 생태주의적 세계관과 인간관을 기본으로 하고 있다. 따라서 생명존중, 일, 공동체의식, 실생활, 지역사회 등과 관련된 교육내용을 강조한다. 대안학교의 이러한 교육이념과 교육내용, 교육방법은 공교롭게 실과교육과 상당부분 상통하는 것으로 확인되었다. 이는 실과교육을 통해서도 현재 당면하고 있는 인성교육의 문제, 실생활 문제, 정서적인 문제 등등을 해결할 수 있음을 시사하는 것이다. 대안학교 교육과정을 분석해볼 때, 1/3 이상을 실과교육 관련 교육내용을 다루고 있는 점을 고려하여 많은 실과교육 시간을 확보함으로써 소기의 교육목적을 충실히 달성할 수 있도록 해야 한다. 인성교육에는 오랜 기간의 다양한 체험활동, 실험ㆍ실습 활동을 필요로 하기 때문이다. 반면에 대안학교 교육의 목표와 교육내용을 참조하여 실과교육 목표와 실과교육 내용을 재정립할 필요가 있으며, 실과교육과정의 구성과 운영에 있어서도 학생중심으로 전개될 수 있도록 해야 한다.

&nbsp;&nbsp;Purpose of this study was to explore for the implications for Practical Arts Education(PAE) of Alternative School Education(ASE). This study was carried out through literature review and analysis of materials related ASE.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;It was identified that there were some similarities between PAE and ASE at the aspects of emphasizing ecologism, life respect, community consciousness, labor, environment, and personality education. And, it was found that PAE and ASE all emphasized concrete experience such as making, gardening, cooking, and working. So, PAE could be concluded to have high value which appropriate for personality education.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;The major recommendations for PAE were as follows;<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;First, more study for re-luminating PAE&quot;s educational value should be carried out at the base of SAE&quot;s value.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Second, more time allotment for PAE should be secured so that PAE&quot;s intrinsic object could be achieved.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Third, PAE&quot;s object and contents should be reorganized at the base of ASE&quot;s idea.
