중학생들의 학습동기, 다중지능, 학습양식과 학업성취 및 학교적응과의 관계

The Relationships among Academic Motivation, Multiple Intelligence, Learning Style and Academic Achievement, School Adjustment

  본 연구는 학습동기, 다중지능, 학습양식과 학업성취 및 학교적응과의 관계를 살펴봄으로써 학업성취와 학교적응에 영향을 미치는 학습자의 다양한 개인차를 파악하고자 하였다. 이에 353명의 남녀 중학생들을 대상으로 한 연구 결과, 첫째, 학업적 자기효능감은 학업성취 및 학교적응에 모두 중요한 영향을 미치며, 학업적 실패내성은 학교적응에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 개인이해 지능은 학업성취와 학교적응 모두에 영향을 미치며, 이 외에 학업성취 및 학교적응에 영향을 미치는 다중지능 하위변인들이 다르다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 셋째, 학업성취 및 학교적응에 영향을 미치는 학습유형 하위변인들이 다르다는 것을 발견할 수 있었다. 마지막으로, 학업성취 및 학교적응에 대한 학습동기, 다중지능, 학습양식 전체의 독립적인 효과를 살펴본 결과, 학업성취와 학교적응에 공통적으로 영향을 미치는 주된 변인은 학업적 자기효능감이었으며, 이 외에 학업성취에는 학습동기, 다중지능, 학습양식이 모두 영향을 미치지만 학교적응에는 학습동기와 학습양식이 영향을 미친다는 것을 발견할 수 있었다. 이러한 연구 결과들이 갖는 시사점 및 제한점에 관한 논의가 있었다.

  This study is to explore the relationships among academic motivation, multiple intelligence, learning style and academic achievement, school adjustment, and to examine the individual difference which have effect on academic achievement, school adjustment. The results were as followings. First, the results showed that academic self-efficacy affected academic achievement and school adjustment, academic failure tolerance affected school adjustment. Second, intrapersonal intelligence affected academic achievement and school adjustment all, whereas sub-variables of multiple intelligence affecting academic achievement and school adjustment were different. Thirds, sub-variables of learning style affecting academic achievement and school adjustment were different. Finally, the results about the relationships of all variables on academic achievement and school adjustment showed that academic self-efficacy had great effects on academic achievement and school adjustment all. Besides, academic motivation, multiple intelligence, learning style affected academic achievement, whereas academic motivation, learning style affected school adjustment. The discussion follows about the meaning and limitations of this research.
