재혼가족의 가족결속에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 - 역할긴장 변수를 중심으로

A Study on the Factors Affecting Step-family Cohesion -Focusing on the Role Stain Variables-

&nbsp;&nbsp;본 논문에서는 가족체계이론을 바탕으로 계부모와 계자녀의 가족경계의 모호성, 역할 모호성, 재혼가족 유형, 재혼기간, 계자녀의 연령 등이 재혼가족의 결속에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 지를 규명하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 최소한 한쪽의 배우자가 과거에 결혼한 경험이 있는 60세 이하이며, 함께 살고 있는 중ㆍ고등학생 계자녀가 1인 이상 있는 재혼가족을 대상으로 자료를 수집하여 이것을 위계적 회귀분석을 사용하여 분석하였다.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;연구결과를 살펴보면 연구대상자의 사회ㆍ인구학적 특성만을 독립변수로 투입하여 회귀분석한 모델 1에서는 소득수준이 가족결속에 유의미한 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 사회ㆍ인구학적 변수 외에 역할긴장 변수(경계의 모호성, 역할의 모호성, 재혼가족 유형)를 독립변수로 투입하여 회귀분석한 모델 Ⅱ에서는 계부모의 연령, 재혼가족 유형, 계부모와 계자녀의 가족경계의 모호성, 계자녀의 역할의 모호성 등이 재혼가족 결속에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 재혼가족의 결속을 촉진하기 위한 접근방법이 모색되었다.

&nbsp;&nbsp;The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of step-families&quot; family boundary ambiguity, role ambiguity, step-family type, and length of remarriage, step-children&quot;s age on their family cohesion. The subjects were composed of total of 286 families(146 stepmother families, 140 stepfather families) who lived with 13 to 18 year old adolescent children. Self-reported questionnaires were used to collect data during the period of late June and August, 2005. Multiple Regression analysis was employed to analyze the data.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Statistically meaningful regression coefficients in family cohesion of Model I are the income level and step-parents&quot; age as socio-demographic variables. That is, The higher the income level is and the younger the step-parents are, the higher the family cohesion level become. Statistically meaningful regression coefficients in family cohesion of Model Ⅱ are step-parents&quot; and step-children&quot;s family boundary ambiguity, step-children&quot;s role ambiguity, and step-family type. Out of 5 research hypothesis four ones were accepted temporarily. With the study results recommendations for the future research in social work area were discussed.
