A Study on the Categorization and Evaluation of Housing Policy in Korea after IMF

&nbsp;&nbsp;1. CONTENTS<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;(1) RESEARCH OBJECTIVES<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;This study focuses on evaluating the effectiveness and categorization of the goal and the instrument of real estate policy in Korea. In this study, the goal achievement evaluation is used to address an important question What are the categories of the goal and the instrument of Korean real estate policies? As such, the objective of this study is to understand the mechanics real estate policies in Korea, and propose the relevant standards to access the effect of previous polices. This study estimates the effectiveness of Korea real estate policy and the categorization of the goal and the instrument of real estate policy. According to study results, the goals of polices can be categorized into the following vitalization of real estate market policy(Ⅰ), supply extension policy(Ⅱ), the stability of real estate price or the control of real estate speculation(Ⅲ). These goals have been executed by 6 policy instruments in the goal achievement.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;(2) RESEARCH METHOD<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;This study estimates the effectiveness of Korea real estate policy and the categorization of the goal and the instrument of real estate policy.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;(3) RESEARCH RESULS<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;The goals of polices can be categorized vitalization of real estate market policy(Ⅰ), supply extension policy(Ⅱ), the stability of real estate price or the control of real estate speculation(Ⅲ). Most of policies have been conformed the goal achievement.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;2. RESULTS<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Results in this study include the basic direction and philosophy of the real estate policy, the necessity of the real estate policy in the local country, and Model development of the real estate policy&quot;s evaluation.
