A Study on the Vowel /ㅓ/ in the Kogooryo Language

  This paper is the thing that are reated to the existence of /ㅓ/ vowel in Kogoory language. To solve these problems, we have to find the resources of Kogoory language. This paper places emphasis on place-name of Kogoory representde 〈Samguksagi〉. Because it concludes very useful data that we can know Kogoory language and the foundation of Sino-Kogoory in constructed on the basis of Archaic-Chinese. If we see such constructed vowel, /ㅓ/ vowel is surely nonexistent. The reason is divided two consumptions ; One is that /ㅓ/ vowel is nonexistent, besides with /ㅓ/ vowel, we know that the position of / ㅓ/ vowel is different from that of modern language. The other is that Chinese sound have an dffect on it. But to solve these problems effectively, we need to find many data about them.
