This paper is for “Hu Il Dam(“Hu Il Dam” meams a story related to certain subsequent events)” of Gong, Ji-Young and Kim, Young-Ha. “Hu Il Dam” is a kind of novel style in the historical changes between 1980"s and 1990"s, which meams that it is temporary and transitional. It is said that 1980"s is an age of the change and the history, and 1990"s is of the everyday and the desire. In the historical unexpected change of the times, the novels of “Hu Il Dam” try to achive there identities. They come to have 2 ways in it. The one is to preseve their real identities in the memory of the past with denying the present. The other is to go the new present with getting rid of the past. Gong is the former, and Kim is the latter. The paper is for the two typical forms of “Hu Il Dam”.
