중국 고대 感應觀의 형성 - 주요 개념과의 관계를 중심으로

The Making of Idea of Cosmic Resonance in Ancient China

  중국적 세계관을 상관적 우주론이라고 한다. 感應은 중국우주론의 핵심개념이다. 본 논문은 중국고대 감응관의 형성을 自然, 氣, 몸, 음악, 역사 등 주요 개념과의 관계를 통해 이해하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 감응관념은 중국어의 성격, 風의 이미지, 음악, 氣일원론 등 다양한 사상이 융합해 형성되었다. 이들은 모두 비가시적이며 관계적 실재라는 공통성이 있다. 이는 운동과 양이 지배하는 기계론적 세계관과는 거리가 있어서 각각의 실재는 무한한 환기의 힘을 소유하고 있다. 그리고 세계 안에 있는 모든 사물은 같은 부류끼리 서로 반응하고 움직인다. 음악의 조화는 이러한 자발적이며 유가적인 세계질서의 근본원리로 여겨졌다. 戰國시대 말에서 漢代 초기까지 이러한 관념은 다양한 우주론적 개념과 역사관 및 종교적 실천, 즉 太一, 陰陽, 五行, 修養, 風의 관념 등과 결합했다. 『？冠子』, 『呂氏春秋』, 『淮南子』, 『春秋繁露』, 『黃帝內經』 등 儒家와 道家 및 醫家를 막론하고 이 시대 많은 문헌 안에 이런 사상의 통합 양상이 드러났다. 그러므로, 이러한 감응의 세계 안에서는 신학이나 실체적인 이성 보다는 修養과 심미적 느낌이 중요시 된다. 중국적 세계관은 이러한 氣의 우주적 감응의 장 안에서 자연과 국가 및 인간 몸이 포괄적으로 조화하는 것에 근거하는 것이다. 심각하게 찢겨진 현대세계 안에서 전일적인 세계관의 회복을 위해 감응에 대한 깊은 이해가 요청된다.

&nbsp;&nbsp;Chinese world-view is the correlative cosmology. The Cosmic resonance(ganying) is a central concept of chinese cosmology. In this article I attempt to interpret the making of Idea of cosmic resonance in ancient China.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;The Idea of Resonance was stemmed from various sources that are characteristics of chinese language, images of wind, music and qi(氣)-monism etc. They have common distinctive features, invisible and relational reality. This thought does not attempt to apply it self to the domain of motion and quantity. Each entities possess an indefinite power of evocation. Then All things in the universe which belongs to the same classes resonated with each other and musical harmony was regarded as the basic principle of a spontaneous and organic world-order.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;From late warring states to early Han, this idea have been interwoven with various patterns of cosmological thoughts, view of history and religious practices. Among them, there are various thoughts focused on the Great one(太一), the deep implications of wind, yin-yang(陰陽), five phases(五行), and self-cultivation etc. Heguanzi(？冠子), Lushichunqiu(呂氏春秋), Huainanzi(淮南子) Chunqiufanlu(春秋繁露), and Huangdineijing(黃帝內經) represent the integration processes of these thoughts in this period.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Therefore in this constant resonant world, it is important to self-cultivation and aesthetic feeling rather than theology and substantial reason. Chinese world-view based upon the comprehensive harmonization of the divine nature, state and human body in the cosmic resonance of vital forces called qi. In our severely fragmented modern world, a deep understanding of the cosmic resonance is required for the sound restoration of a holistic world-view.
