국내ㆍ외 미술영재 교육 프로그램의 비교 분석 - 중ㆍ고등학생 대상 프로그램 중심으로

A Study on the Program for Art Talented Students in Korea and Foreign Country

  우리나라에서 시행되고 있는 미술영재 교육의 실태를 분석하기 위해 시 교육청 지정 미술영재 교육 프로그램 운영학교인 4개의 고등학교와 2개의 예술 고등학교의 미술영재 교육 프로그램의 내용과 운영을 분석하였다. 또한 외국의 3개 미술영재 교육 기관에서 운영하는 교육 프로그램의 내용과 운영을 분석하여 국내 미술영재 교육에 시사하는 바를 살펴보았다. 4개 고등학교에서 미술영재 교육 프로그램을 개발하고 운영을 담당한 교사와의 인터뷰, 문서화된 미술영재 교육 프로그램, 참여한 학생들과의 인터뷰 내용을 기초 자료로 분석하였다. 본고에서는 국내ㆍ외 미술영재 교육 프로그램 각각의 특성을 운영과 교육 내용 측면에서 분석하고 비교하여 이를 기초로 미술영재 교육 프로그램 개발과 운영 방안을 제안하였다.

  The purpose of this study is to analyze the actual conditions of the education for the art talented students. The education programs at 4 high schools and 2 art high schools are analyzed and 3 programs at foreign country(Greenville County"s Public school for the Literay Performimng & Visual Art, The South Carolina Governor"s School for the Arts and Humanities, Israel Art and Science Academy). Analisis focused on the contents and management of programs. This study treats how we have to develope the educational program for the art talented students and what is a point to be considered. The program of Greenville County"s Public school for the Literay Performimng & Visual Art are similar with the program for or the art talented students at high school in Korea that"s the kind of supplementary lessons. But the programs of the South Carolina Governor"s School for the Arts and Humanities and Israel Art and Science Academy are very suggestive specially a viewpoint of interdisciplinary education. This educational institutions"s curriculum can be a model for the art high schools and for the studio art program in university.
