A Study on the Effect of Employee-Environment Fit on Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment in Hotel Food Service Context

&nbsp;&nbsp;This study was to examine the effect of three types of fit such as person-organization (P-O), person-group (P-G), and person-job (P-J) fit on job satisfaction and organizational commitment in the context of hotel restaurant organization. For these purposes, the author developed several hypotheses and collected data from 232 employees of hotel restaurant site. The data were analyzed with SPSS/PC+ 12.0. The results are as follows:<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;First, P-J, P-G, and P-O fit have an positive effect on job satisfaction.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Second, P-G and P-J fit have an positive effect on organizational commitment.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Finally, the managerial implications, limitations, and future research directions were suggested at the end of this paper.
