Innovation Effects of Agglomeration Firm: A Case Study of Daegu Eyeglass Frame Industry

&nbsp;&nbsp;본 연구는 대구지역 안경테산업 집적지의 혁신수행에 영향을 주는 요인이 무엇인지를 실증적으로 분석하고 있다. 지리적 집적효과와 자본금, 매출액, 브랜드 보유여부, 연구개발비 등과 같은 개별 기업의 특성 변수, 기업가 정신 중에서 브랜드 보유와 연구개발비가 통계적으로 유의하게 나타나고 있다.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;본 연구의 시사점은 클러스터의 발전정책에 있어 기업의 집적이라는 물리적 조건도 중요하지만, 장기적 관점에서 구성주체들의 네트워킹을 통한 혁신의 제고 정책과 산업의 특성을 고려한 단기적 관점에서 혁신수행능력을 극대화 할 수 정책의 병행이 요구된다는 것을 보여준다.

&nbsp;&nbsp;The main purpose of this study is to test the innovation effects of agglomeration firm. In general geographical agglomeration is contribute to firm&quot;s innovation. But there are many factors which affect on firm&quot;s innovation. For example sales, capital, R&amp;D, brand, enterpreneurship and so on. We take a case of eyeglass-frame cluster in Daegu city for empirical analysis. In logit-regression analysis, we find that R&amp;D and Brand affect on eyeglass frame firm&quot;s innovation. Therefore, the developing methods of eyeglass frame industry are notg241 only to build cluster in long-term, but also to consider effective support in short-term.
