중국 및 한국 지역의 투자결정 요인 분석

Determinants of Regional Investment Activities for Korea and China

  본 연구의 목적은 다항로짓 모형을 이용하여 한국 제조업체가 한국의 수도권과 비수도권, 중국의 동남 연안지역과 서부 내륙지역을 투자지역으로 선택할 확률을 측정하는데 있다. 본 연구의 결과 한국의 제조업체가 한국의 수도권과 중국의 서부 내륙지역으로 투자할 확률은 증가하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 또한 한국의 비수도권 지역을 투자지역으로 선택할 확률의 한계효과는 집적경제지수가 고정되었을 때, 부(-)의 효과가 보인다는 것을 알 수 있다.

  The purpose of this paper is to examine the determinants of the probabilities to select investment location of Korean manufacturing firms among Seoul Metropolitan region and the Non-Seoul Metropolitan region in Korea, and the Southern-east region and the Western region in China, using a multinomial logit model. It finds that the probabilities of location choice in Seoul Metropolitan region of Korea and the Western region of China are increasing. The marginal effects of the Non Seoul Metropolitan region would be negative with the agglomeration index fixed.
