대학 신입생들의 대학생활경험에 대한 분석 연구

An Analytic Study on the University Life Experiences of Freshman

&nbsp;&nbsp;본 연구의 목적은 대학 신입생들의 대학생활 경험내용을 분석하는데 있다. 그러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여, 수도권 종합대학 제2 캠퍼스에 재학하는 81명의 남녀 대학생들을 대상으로 2005년 11월 중순부터 동년 12월 초까지 개방형 설문조사를 실시하였다. 분석방법은 내용분석과 빈도분석이며, 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;신입생들은 전문지식의 함양, 보다 나은 미래의 삶, 사회적 지위 획득을 목적으로 대학에 입학한 경우가 가장 많았다. 또한 대부분의 신입생들이 아름답고 낭만적인 캠퍼스의 자유로운 생활을 통해 지식을 쌓아 가는 자신의 모습과 다양하고 새로운 사람들과의 만남을 기대하고 대학에 입학한 것으로 나타났다. 대학에 입학하여 3월 한 달 동안 대학 신입생들은 자유로운 생활 그 자체와 새로운 사람들과의 호기심 어린 만남이 가장 좋았던 경험으로 인식하고 있었으며, 다양한 긍정적인 성장 경험과 힘들고 부정적인 경험을 동시에 하고 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 또한 약 70%의 학생들이 대학 입학을 후회하거나 대학을 떠날 생각을 한 적이 있었으며 그 시기는 1학기가 많았다. 대학을 떠날 방법으로는 재수를 위한 휴학, 편입, 자퇴의 순서였다.

&nbsp;&nbsp;The purpose of this study was to investigate the university life of freshman. For this purpose, 81 freshman sample from local campus were analyzed. Research methods was content analysis and frequency analysis, and major findings were as followings;<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Many freshman entered university for the enhancement of professional knowledges, better life of future, and achievement of social status. And majority of freshman having expectations of meeting with various persons and growing self-image through beautiful and romantic university life entered university. During one month of March after university entrance, Freshman perceived very good experience such as liberal life and meeting with various new style’ s persons. Freshman co-experienced various positive growing experiences and negative experiences. About 70% freshman were regretted for entering present university or thinking of transferring other university at first semester. Lastly, methods of leaving from present university were transferance and withdrawal.
