The purposes of this study were to identify university students" patronage behaviors, and to determine university students" overall satisfaction & perception regarding the quality factors and to provide recommendation on marketing strategies for university foodservices. Questionnaires were hand-delivered to 215 Chungbuk National University students by designated coordinators. A total of 210 questionnaires were usable. The survey was conducted between July 7, 2005 and August 8, 2005. Statistical data analysis was completed using the SAS Programs for descriptive analysis, T-test, ANOVA. The results of this can be summarized as follows: 38.57% of students were patronizing university foodservices for lunch. 48.10% students were patronizing restaurants outside the campus. The average overall satisfaction score of respondents was 2.91 out of 5.00, which means most of the students were not satisfied with food quality and service quality of university foodservice operaitons. Importance mean score in terms of food, facilities and equiomnet hygiene was 4.41, 4.34 and 4.32 out of 5.00,
