A Study on the Strategic Performance System in Public Sector

&nbsp;&nbsp;Nowadays. it is essential for the national development to increase the government&quot;s competitiveness based on performance management.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;This study introduced the BSC as the strategic instrument for performance management and examined it&quot;s ability of the application in public sector.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;For this, two cases were analyzed. One is Charlotte city in America as an external case, and the other is the national maritime policy agency in Korea as an internal case. On this grounds, this study drew current affairs and investigated hereafter issues for application BSC which is in the initial phase of introduction to public sector.
