The Development Feasibility of Gorae-V Gas Field in Block Ⅵ-1, Korean Continental Shelf

  국내 대륙붕의 천연가스전 개발 사업이 한국석유공사에 의하여 2000년 3월 착수되었다. Ⅵ-1광구 고래-Ⅴ 가스전은 한국석유공사가 1998년부터 1999년까지 실시한 3공의 평가정 시추를 통하여 컨덴세이트를 포함하는 양질의 천연 가스가 확인되었다. 고래 Ⅴ 가스전의 가채 매장량은 200BCF (LNG 4MMT)으로 추정되며, 천연가스와 컨덴세이트의 생산량은 각각 75MMCF/일과 1.5TBBU/일로 추정되며, 생산년수는 약 9년으로 추진된다. 본 논문은 국내 대륙붕 Ⅵ-1광구 고래-Ⅴ 가스전의 효율적인 개발을 위하여 제반 설비, 개발 계획, 투자비와 개발 경제성을 제고하였다.

  The project for developing natural gas in Korean continental shelf has launched by Korea National Oil Corporation (KNOC) in March, 2000. High-quality gas reservoirs associated with condensate were identified by 3 evaluation wells drilled in Gorae-Ⅴ gas field in block 6-1 by KNOC in 1998 and 1999. Recoverable reserve of the gas field is estimated 200BCF(4MMT of LNG) and the production capacities of gas and condensate are 75MMSCFD and 1.5TBBLD, respectively. The production year of the reserve is estimated to be of approximately 9 years. This paper reviews the cost-effective development scheme for Gorae-Ⅴ gas field in Block 6-1, Korean continental shelf including equipment and facilities in offshore and onshore terminal, capital and operating costs, development schedule and economic feasibility.
