93년도 원주천의 이화학적 수질 특성에 관한 연구

A Study on the Physio-chemical Characteristics of the Wonju Stream, 1993

  본 연구는 원주천에서 1993년 5월부터 1993년 10월까지 월별로 이화학적 조사를 실시하였다. 원주천 상류는 오염되지 않은 상태이나 하류는 상당히 오염된 하천으로 밝혀졌으며, 주오염원은 원주시내의 생활하수와 공장의 폐수로 여겨진다. 고형부유물질, 용존무기인, 엽록소 농도는 서로 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 특히 세제, 분뇨 등을 함유한 생활하수 등에 포함된 영양염들 (특히 인)이 조류의 대량 증식의 원인이 되는 것으로 여겨진다.

  Physio-chemical characteristics of the Wonju stream were investigated 6 times from May to October, 1993 on monthly interval. The SS gave a strong linear relationship with both DIP and Chlorophyll-a. Algal bloom may be caused by the fertilization of water with nutrients (especially phosphorus) in sewage that contains detergents, human wastes, etc. The results of study showed that Wonju stream was polluted water, and that major sources of water pollution were sewage and effluent of Wonju city.
