義湘 華嚴宗의 淨土信仰 收容態

&nbsp;&nbsp;Korean Hwa-ueom school, which is fairly different from Chinese Hwaueom, originated from Uisang&quot;s Hwaueom thought. I think His unique way of adapting Pure Land belief to Hwaueom is affected by his mentor Jiueom&quot;s thought, Wonhyo&quot;s thought, and the exceptional historical background of the Shilla Dynasty. They had influence on the content of Uisang&quot;s Hwaueom thought as well as on the practice of Chinese Hwaueom in Korea.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Jiueom&quot;s way of adapting Pure Land belief to Hwaueom thought is the doctrine of conditional precedent practice of the way of Hwaueom Bodhisattva. While Wonhyo&quot;s thought is Hwaueom thought oriented by the awakening of faith, Wonhyo&quot;s Pure Land belief is an all-covered essay on practice. It is an adaptation of Uisang&quot;s Pure Land belief that the Pure Land belief of the two philosophers, Jiueom and Wonhyo, was accepted dialectically and adjusted to the historical background of the unified Shilla Dynasty in the Seventh century. I think Uisang&quot;s Pure Land belief can be called an essay on the practice of self-discipline of the way of Hwaueom Bodhisattva. In brief, the way of Hwaueom Bodhisattva consists of the ascent system of practice of Bodhisattva as ordinary persons and the descent compassionate practice of mahayana Bodhisattva. I think Uisang&quot;s Pure Land belief is a replacement for the ascent system.
