A Review of Wonhyo"s Thought of Harmonization

&nbsp;&nbsp;Wonhyo&quot;s thought, based on Hwa-ueom thought and Kisin-ron thought, was established by accepting a variety of thoughts on Buddhism. The thought of Harmonization is thought to be the center of Wonhyo&quot;s thought. From this point of view, the basic concepts of his thought are one mind, harmonization, and liberation. The interrelation among these three concepts should be analyzed to understand Wonhyo&quot;s thought of Harmonization because it must be understood within thecomprehensive system of his thought. The three concepts are coordinating triple relations and interrelations among essence, attribute, and influence. Harmonization is in influence.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Wonhyo&quot;s thought of Harmonization has been analyzed so far in the name of disentanglement. However, the interrelations of the three in Ki-sinron are not the principal and the subordinate. His thought of Harmonization is not of limited importance and is not analyzed as a process of one mind through disentanglement. Wonhyo&quot;s point of view of the interrelations of Ki-sinron is based on not only practice by ordinary men in samsara, but also on the emphasis on practice of absolute enlightenment of Buddha, which is in the center of ordinary men in samsara. Taken attention to this, Wonhyo&quot;s thought of Harmonization is active behavior as self-realization of one mind as well as practice to return to the nature of one mind.<BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;Wonhyo&quot;s thought of Harmonization is no longer analyzed as practice for the essential nature of the mind which is unborn and imperishable or disentanglement, but as benevolent action for the relief of ordinary men in samsara. These two points of the Harmonization are not separated. They are an incompatible but simultaneously proceeding event in a human&quot;s mind.
